At some point, it starts to feel frustrating — and confusing.

You’re not broken. your body just needs the right support and strategy.

This is where I focus my work.

WELCOME TO KOA WELLNESS

Finally, a way to support your body and optimize your health — so it works for the life you demand of it. Feel alive, energized, and confident in your body again.

After the birth of my son, my body stopped responding the way it used to. Despite training consistently and eating well, I felt stuck.
At the same time, I was dealing with a serious shoulder injury that impacted both my work and daily life.
After exploring every option, including the possibility of surgery, I was introduced to peptide-supported recovery under medical guidance. Over time, everything began to shift. My strength returned. My body responded again. My energy improved.
That experience changed everything for me.
And it’s exactly why I created KŌA Wellness.
Your body isn’t broken. Sometimes it just needs the right support.

Meet Gina Parlette

Movement has always been a part of my life.

I grew up playing every sport I could, constantly trying to keep up with my brothers and learning early on what it felt like to push myself, compete, and stay in motion. By high school, that turned into a deeper rhythm — running cross country and track, along with a growing love for swimming and strength training.

At 16, I started working as an ocean lifeguard in Laguna Beach. That was my first real experience with purpose-driven work — being responsible for others, staying calm under pressure, and showing up when it mattered.

That same mindset carried into college, where I competed in Division I cross country and track at the University of Hawaiʻi — a place that shaped so much of who I am today. At 21, I pushed myself into a new level of endurance, becoming one of the youngest competitors to complete the Kona Ironman World Championship in 2011.

From there, I stepped into my career as a firefighter and paramedic — a role that requires strength, resilience, and presence every single day.

Now, I’m also a mom to two boys, Brooks and Koa. Our life revolves around the outdoors — the ocean, movement, and being active together. Being able to share that with my husband and my boys is something I don’t take for granted.

Through every season — training, racing, motherhood, and my career — movement has stayed constant.

Not chasing perfection. Just continuing to show up, consistently.

And that’s exactly how I approach my work with clients.

With structure, with intention, and with the understanding that real results don’t come from extremes — they come from showing up, over time, in a way that actually lasts.
